Construction update November

As you know, AntesZ Bouw took over the work of Loffts last spring. Since then, the construction team has continued to work daily on the realization of your vacation home. We have unfortunately experienced delays due to late material deliveries and the transfer of the ongoing construction process. Despite this, we continue to make progress.

We knew that taking over an ongoing construction process brings challenges. In practice, some parts turned out to be underestimated. Especially the coordination with various subcontractors does require more time than anticipated. As a result, the planning - and thus the deliveries - are moving further ahead in time.

Facilities progress

• Power supply - Enexis has realized the connections. A great milestone!
• Water supply - The new ring main has been installed and is functioning.
• Sewerage - The new sump will be installed this week. With this, the drainage for the entire resort is prepared and we are building future-proof for a fully operational resort.
• Landscape Phase 1 - Beach and remaining walls of the swimming pond have been profiled; the contours are now clearly visible.
• Residential preparation- We are preparing for residential preparation of all lots and sites in phase 1.
• Waste supply - Due to the long delivery time, the new containers have been ordered early and are now placed along the driveway.

Status of homes

The first homes have been completed and furnished. We are completing the remaining homes according to the schedule yet to be communicated. Here we are taking into account the available capacity, resources and weather conditions.

We are deliberately planning the placement and furnishing of the hot tubs and outdoor showers as late as possible in the process. In this way we prevent damage and ensure quality upon completion.

Landscaping for a fresh natural look

After the construction period, we started preparations for the landscaping. We are working on this in phases, so that the resort will get a green, well-kept look faster in phase 1.

Better traffic flow via exit to the traffic circle

We are currently actively preparing the construction of the access road to the traffic circle. We have started the permit application for this, with the aim of further improving the flow of traffic to and from the resort. This modification will contribute to a safer and clearer traffic situation, not only for our guests, but certainly also for local residents. By arranging the route more logically and efficiently, the traffic pressure will be better distributed and we will try to limit possible inconvenience as much as possible.

Exemptions and permits

As a developer, Metanoia is busy preparing applications for required waivers and permits. In general, the new environmental law makes filing more complex than before.

Processing times are also increasing due to the lack of "fatal deadlines" on the government side. Fatal deadlines are hard, inexorable deadlines in laws or regulations. Metanoia, together with its partners, prepares this as carefully as possible so that we can submit the smoothest possible application.
